Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lime Kiln Cottage in charming Pentewan, Cornwall. the location was ideal, with Polstreath Beach just a short 2.7km away, perfect for enjoying the sandy shores and crystal-clear waters. the cottage itself was a delightful mix of character and comfort, with a spacious kitchen that was well-equipped for cooking up local produce. One of the highlights of my stay was the cozy fireplace, perfect for warming up after a day of exploring the nearby St Catherines Castle or taking in the stunning views at the Eden Project, just 14km away. the terrace offered a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, overlooking the picturesque village. The amenities in the cottage were top-notch, with plush towels provided and modern conveniences like a washing machine and flat-screen TV. the attention to detail in the decor, from the carpeted floors to the parquet flooring, added a touch of elegance to the space. Despite being just 35km from the bustling town of Newquay, Lime Kiln Cottage felt like a tranquil retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether enjoying a leisurely stroll to the local pub or venturing out to explore the surrounding area, this cottage provided the perfect base for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Lime Kiln Cottage for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in beautiful Cornwall.
